Esma barley (SC18-032RB) is a very short strong strawed 2-row barley with excellent grain yield potential. Yield 129% of AC Metcalfe and 109% AAC Synergy in the Ontario Barley Orthogonal Trials 2018-2019. SeCan western EuroBarley Trials 2017 & 2019 showed Esma to yield approximately 5% higher than CDC Austenson and 20% higher .Curious to see if I could taste any differences myself, I decided to put it to the test!
